Abstract: Transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) has gradually become one of the main treatments for high-risk patients with aortic stenosis, which has significantly improved the prognosis and quality of life of these patients. However, the risk of perioperative stroke associated with TAVI and its serious consequences remain a concern. This article reviews the incidence, mechanism, prevention strategies, anesthesia management, and neuroprotective monitoring of stroke after TAVI, in order to provide a clinical reference for clinicians.
